| Here is a brief, track by track explanation of the album "Octopus Songs"
1.Motherfucking Song I wanted to start out with a bang, but also have a less "introduction like" song beginning. In the middle it switches up to a "song" called Julie Coconut. But it's really not a different song at all!
2.Ya Crazy! Inspired by Captain Beefheart, Devo, and an australian fast food commercial.
3.Everlasting Splatter I like the vocals on this one.
4.Living in a Zoo I didn't want any song to sound too serious on this album. So after writing the first set of lyrics for the song, I decided to change the nonsensical storyline to an alligators perspective.
5.Backseat Brother This one gets stuck in my head. Tried to do a barrage of strange melodies that usually don't go together, and don't really do here... but that's the point.
6.Rad Notion Tapped on the floor for the drums.
7.Steep This one's about a girl :)
8.Forget About Blinking Named after something Amanda said, one of the psychedellic freak outs.
9.Twilite This one kinda came outta nowhere.
10.Octopus Song The "title" track of the album. Dealing with Octopi and turning into one... Wouldn't that be weird?
11.Below A tension track
12.Ax All I wanted to say was nothing!
13.History is History, A Mystery Inspired in part by David Byrne
14.Amplify Noise noise noise. Tried to get an 80s sound with the vocals.
15.The Mother Little messaround track
16.Underneath the Ground Craziness
17.(energy) Thought of it while drinking an AMP.
18.Dead Waltz I wanted a little instrumental section of the album, this is how it started. Keyboard
19.The Spotted Guaco Mating Dance Percussion track, lighters and buckets were used.
20.On the Tracks (At Night) This one should put an imagine in your head
21.Christian Busting out of the instrumentals with this one. Late King Crimson influence.
22.The Ritual of the Chicken Not to be confused with previous "Ritual of the Chicken" songs, that i didn't use for much.
23.Wild Travels Oh my!
24.Cyclops Was intended for an album i scrapped "fantasyland". The sound fit here better.
25.I Love You (Rawr) This song features vocals by the dinosaur "Alvin".

| I have a lot of things I could blog about.
"Octopus Songs" The new Mr. Kingdom Show album is in it's final workings. It turned out to be noisy "lo-fi" indie shit with a little prog/acid rock mix. Listening to it right now, testing. This is the 12th Mr. Kingdom Show. Might like it enough to get it printed. Not sure yet. I whipped up a cover:
I was thinking about blogging about my job as a GM of a restaurant chain locale, But there's really nothing much to say. Except it's been super slow.

| Beer pong was fun last night. Adam stopped over. I never thought I would be the beer pong type. But after a while it got fun I guess. The can/cup castle was pretty awesome.
I don't have much to say.
But I have some pictures.
Lionel got into the fruit snacks. They had one that was the shape of a lion. It was kindof ironic.
This awesome picture was taken by amanda, Lionel helped me in scrabble!
